2 years ago 91

OCCRP is looking for an experienced project coordinator to help manage our editorial workflows. We are looking for someone who can bring structure and a process-based view of how we develop stories from an initial concept through to publication, supporting our incredible but diverse range of editorial staff. This is not a traditional project management role, but you will need to bring process management, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills, along with project reporting and dashboard management.

The ideal candidate must have amazing soft skills, and be able to work with people from many cultures who have varied ways of communicating. You need to be able to bring out the best in people in positive and constructive ways. The editorial workflow is mostly a waterfall process but with some elements that could be considered agile, and you will need to be adaptive and pragmatic. No process is perfect, and you will need to manage ambiguity and exceptions on a regular basis. This role will report to the editor-in-chief but will be supported by the entire leadership team. Note: This role has no direct journalistic or editorial responsibility.
