The Victorian Government and Federation University have started a project, to map the genetic boundaries of the Strzelecki koala. Friends of the Earth is sending out this video to inform our members in the South Gippsland and Gippsland regions how to find the scats and how to collect them and how to post them to Kelly Smith from Federation University. We only have until May 2024 to get the samples analysed. This work could help get the Strzelecki koala listed under the Federal EPBC Act. To support our work please visit http://foe.org.au/donate
