BBC Media Action is supporting the Media Association of Solomon Islands (MASI) through its media capacity strengthening project. The project will help MASI to develop content strategies aimed to expand local and provincial level news coverage.
Capacity strengthening and strong partnerships are core methodologies in the project. The project is working with local media partners with an interest in promoting a viable, sustainable, and accountable media sector in the Solomons Islands.
The purposed Mobile Journalism trainings is focused for journalists, stringers, or freelancers who will produce content covering the general election which is scheduled to take place in April 2024.
