Crown makes closing arguments in case against rugby union star who denies sexually assaulting woman at Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel

A woman who has accused the rugby star Kurtley Beale of sexual assault has been “staunchly consistent” in her evidence that she did not consent, a court has heard.

After a week-and-a-half of evidence, crown prosecutor Jeff Tunks began his closing address on Wednesday before the jury retires to make its decision later in the week.
