The Regional Program Officer (RPO) will support and fulfill the day-to-day implementation of program activities. They will also be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of progress with the local implementing partner and liaising between IREX team members on reporting and compliance issues in addition to day-to-day implementation of the project activities. In close coordination with the IREX Central Asia Director, the RPO will support and fulfill components of the project in Central Asia, including 1) creating opportunities for new partnerships in Central Asia, 2) planning and implementing project activities, 3) providing guidance on workplans, directions, and support to all consortium partners. The RPO will also coordinate implementation in the region of Central Asia, including 1) providing technical and administrative oversight and support to sub-partners for a program in Central Asia, 2) monitoring deliverables from consultants, subgrantees and vendors, 3) facilitating compliance and local legislation monitoring to ensure day-to-day programming.
