Independent Nicolette Boele is the projected winner of the Sydney seat of Bradfield, likely defeating Liberal Gisele Kapterian with a wafer-thin margin of just 27 votes.

Media outlets including the ABC and Sky News have declared the teal the winner of a recount in the seat but the Australian Electoral Commission is yet to make an announcement. That confirmation could come as soon as Wednesday afternoon.
