The stink behind the bathroom brawl between Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert

1 year ago 46

Where does one begin with these two congresswomen? Once close friends, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado proudly jumped on every MAGA bandwagon in lockstep. The former besties once voted together against a bill to help treat leukemia. Both women have shared their bizarre views on COVID-19, a love of white supremacists, guns, QAnon, a hatred of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and their support of the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Now the two women are locked in mortal combat. At the center of it seems to be Greene’s dogged climb back into the seat of more moderate Republican circles, aligning herself with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, while Boebert appears to be taking more of a lone wolf approach.

The crest of the battle was played out on Jan. 7 in the speaker’s lobby ladies' room, The Daily Beast reports, when a source says, “Greene questioned Boebert’s loyalty to McCarthy.”
