The state government has brought forward the end of its zero-emission vehicle subsidy by a year

Victorians will soon pay more for electric cars, with plans to scrap a $3,000 state government subsidy for zero-emission vehicles almost a year earlier than planned.

The cost-cutting measure will put the state behind Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia in electric vehicle incentives.
